The Blackout est un groupe post-hardcore / hard rock originaire du Pays de Galles, qui s'est formé en 2003. Après avoir fait les premières parties de Lostprophets, ils réalisent leur mini-album "The Blackout ! The Blackout ! The Blackout !" (2006). En octobre 2007 sort leur 1er album, "We are the dynamite". "The best in town", 2e album du groupe sort le 25 mai 2009 en Europe et le 23 juin aux États-Unis. Leur dernier album "Hope" est sorti le 4 avril 2011.
